Aspiring Author!

I'm so excited to be starting this new journey! I've had my sights on being published for years and have finally made the decision that it's time. Short story romance will allow me an opportunity at telling different stories while still keeping thing cozy, which is one of my favorite genres too-I can't wait start writing some mysteries soon as well :)

Why write now? Lol! Well, 2020 had us all pivoting and thinking about what’s important. So, I asked myself “if I died today, what do I regret not doing?” Romance author was at the top of my bucket list… so I think it’s time to go for it. The timing isn’t perfect (it never is) but I’m getting closer to having an empty nest and think it’s time to do something fun!

Why the pen name? Well, I was back and forth with this but ultimately decided I could be more open and free with my writing if I wasn’t worried about it impacting my family. I love the name I came up with and my favorite things in the about section are all true for me in real life. So the pen name just adds a little privacy.

I hope you enjoy sharing in my journey and I hope I inspire you to start writing as well. Whether it be personal or professional, writing is therapeutic for me. It's what gets my gears turning - until there are no words left! And because of that, I hope this blog becomes a place where I can share with each of you all my love of romance and books.
